HELLO Current Anderson Sophomores! Are you IB?

The priority transfer application via Enroll Austin for IB opens in January 2026.

Current AHS Students who are interested in learning about full IB Diploma studies or select IB Courses in subjects they are interested in, should take the following steps:

  • Step 1: Learn About IB @ Anderson

    • (For current Anderson Students) Come to a Lunch with the IB Coordinator in the Library Learning Lab. Click here for sessions in Fall/Spring

    • Prospective students are also encouraged to attend an IB Information Session on October 23rd, or December 4th. You can find the location/time on the homepage of the Anderson HS website.

  • Step 2: AHS SOPHOMORES ONLY interested in the Diploma or taking certificate courses? Please copy and paste this link into your browser: https://forms.gle/qmS3vinCY3b4wxXt7 and fill out the short form. **This is not the application, this is strictly to show interest and you will then be contacted by the IB Coordinator once a list is compiled**

  • Please Note: Parents of all students applying to IB @ Anderson must complete an Enroll Austin Application. You can access Enroll Austin via austinisd.org/enroll. 

  • Students should fill out their course selection with their desired IB courses. Students will meet with the IB Coordinator and counselors to make sure that schedule is correct. Do not stress over this - just turn in your course selection! The IB Handbook is a good starting point to help you with IB course offerings.
