To ensure a safe and orderly dismissal, students will not be released after 4:15 PM. Please follow these steps to check a student out early:
IMPORTANT: NEW PINK PASS & EARLY RELEASE PROCEDURE***
We are updating our Early Release (Pink Pass) process to ensure a safe, secure, and orderly dismissal for all students.
What’s Changing?
Beginning August 18, 2026, we will NO LONGER accept pink pass requests via email.
New Online Submission Process
Parents and guardians must complete the official online form for all planned early releases.
- Submit Here: Pink Pass Request Form
- Deadline: Requests must be submitted at least 2 hours in advance and no later than 2:00 PM on the day of the early release.
In-Person Pick-Up Policy
If you miss the 2:00 PM online submission deadline or are unable to submit 2 hours in advance:
- You must come to the Main Office in person to sign your student out.
- You must present a valid photo ID (e.g., driver’s license or passport).
- Our staff will call your student out of class once you arrive. Please allow extra time for this process.
Key Reminders & Additional Policies
- 4:15 PM Cutoff: To maintain an orderly dismissal, no students will be released after 4:15 PM.
- No Last-Minute Requests: Unplanned or last-minute digital/phone requests cannot be accommodated—please plan accordingly.
- Emergency Pick-Up: Report directly to the Front Office immediately.
Student Check-In Procedure
Students arriving late to campus or returning from an appointment must check in at the main office before proceeding to class. Please use the AISD School Absence Form OR email anderson@austinisd.org to submit all parent/doctor documents. Please submit to either one of the two; DO NOT submit to both.
