Naviance is Anderson’s online hub for self‑discovery, career exploration, college research, and application tracking. Students can use Naviance throughout high school to better understand their strengths, explore future options, and organize their college/career steps.
What You Can Do in Naviance

- Use your district credentials via the AISD portal, then choose Naviance.
- Families/guardians can request "view" access - email Ms. Jill Spencer

Grade‑Level Guide: When to Use Naviance
9th Grade
Build your profile: complete self‑discovery assessments; explore careers and related courses; start a “favorites” list.
10th Grade
Deepen exploration: connect careers to college majors; begin browsing colleges that offer those programs.
11th Grade
Research with purpose: sign up and attend college presentations @ Anderson, refine your list, note testing and admission requirements; preview scholarship timelines.
12th Grade
Apply and track: finalize your list, request documents, monitor deadlines, and track status of documents.
Tips for Parents
- Explore together: review your student’s assessment results and saved careers/colleges.
- Ask questions: talk about interests, strengths, and workload preferences to shape the list. Discuss financial aspects of paying for college.
